A personal universe that moves with you
The new Ollo portable lamp brings interior light that you can always keep close – wherever you are. Its name, inspired by its distinctly circular shape, evokes balance, symmetry, and cyclical flow. At the heart of the design is a glass ring, within which a silent, captivating universe unfolds.
“I designed Ollo as a light that stays close to you at all times. A small object you carry as naturally as a thought. An intimate microcosm enclosed in a ring of glass – a light that lives with you and responds to your space and mood.” says Václav Mlynář, BOMMA Creative Director and designer of Ollo.
Ollo is available in three brushed-metal finishes: bronze, silver, and anthracite. Both the intensity and color temperature of the light can be adjusted from 1850K to 4000K. Whether to create a warm, cozy ambiance or to support focused work with bright white light. Rechargeable via USB-C, Ollo offers everyday convenience and true portability, adapting effortlessly to your needs.
Ollo combines freedom of movement, an intimate atmosphere, and the distinct beauty of hand-shaped glass. Tiny bubbles, organically caught in the delicate swirls of cast clear glass, resemble stars – making each piece its own little cosmos. The center of the ring glows like a tiny sun, around which everything orbits.
Ollo is not just a lamp – it is a companion you can place anywhere: on a table, by your bed, on a terrace, or carry with you into the dark.
Since 2017 Václav Mlynář has been Creative Director of BOMMA. He has international experience from studying and working in the Czech Republic, US, Denmark and London. He obtained his master degrees in Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In years 2011-2020 Václav was running, with Jakub Pollág, an award-wining product design studio deFORM. In 2020 Václav focused on running his product studios VM, spatial/interior architecture studio MONUMENT Office.
