BOMMA provided both decorative and technical lighting solutions in the new interior of the Brasiliero restaurant in Prague. The installation, consisting of 79 Flare lights designed by Kateřina Handlová, Designer of the Year 2024, is the most extensive implementation of this collection to date. Their graceful lines evoke the sensuality and energy of Latin American dances, which inspired the entire concept.
The interior is complemented by technical lighting fixtures from Beam collection, which provide perfect lighting conditions for dining and create an ambient atmosphere.

Each Flare element is created by hand in our glassworks – the melted glass is dipped in white glass shards, then another layer of glass is added. The glassmaker then stretches the glass into the shape of rod while twisting the glass. This creates a delicate spiral inside the crystal rods. Thanks to this technique, each light fixture has a unique structure and character, and the whole installation feels like a living organism that moves naturally with the space.
The Beam technical light fixtures ensure a balance between aesthetics and functionality, providing precise and unobtrusive interior lighting. In combination with Flare, they create a harmony of handcraft, contemporary design, and sophisticated lighting architecture.
