Sustainability is only sustainable in the long term if it is based on people. Our ambition is to raise awareness of the demands and importance of glassmaking and to inspire partner organizations, schools and the public to a deeper understanding of traditional craftsmanship in the modern world.

Supporting the craft

We support education and development of the glass craft – we cooperate with glass schools in the Czech Republic and abroad, including Pilchuck Glass School. Our effort is to bring the younger generation back to a tradition that deserves respect and attention. We believe that tradition, technological innovation and responsibility to society can exist in balance – and that it is this balance that gives our craft a future.

World Glass Cutting Championship

Part of our support for the craft is the international Glass Cutting World Cup competition, which we organize to support the development and recognition of glass cutting. The competition brings together professionals and talented young and experienced cutters, strengthens the prestige of the profession and helps maintain craftsmanship at a top level.

Local suppliers

We specifically select partners and suppliers with a focus on responsible behavior and their commitment to sustainability. Whenever possible, we prioritizes local suppliers. We cooperate with local and international partners who meet certifications such as FSC, EcoVadis or TÜV Süd.
